Terms for calls, tips, and downloads
Short, and written so you know exactly what you are and are not buying.
What a call is
A conversation with an experienced airline pilot giving his personal, honest perspective on your situation, based on public information and his own career, with a written action plan afterward. It is general information and one person's judgment. It is not flight instruction, and not legal, medical, financial, or tax advice; for those, hire the appropriate licensed professional. It is not a job, interview, or hiring guarantee; the airline industry hires in cycles nobody controls.
Not on behalf of any airline
Pilot Career Solutions is independent. Nothing on this site or in a call is said on behalf of, endorsed by, or represents any airline, and we do not discuss any airline's internal or confidential information. Pay figures come from publicly available collective bargaining agreements.
Booking, payment, rescheduling, refunds
Calls are booked through Calendly and paid at booking through Stripe. Reschedule or cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time. Inside 24 hours, or if you do not attend, the call is charged; if something outside your control keeps you from a call, email us and we will usually rebook it once as a courtesy. If we cancel (a flying schedule can change on short notice), you choose a new time or a full refund. Tips are voluntary and are not refundable except for a processing error. The workbook is a digital download; if it is not what you expected, email within 14 days for a refund.
Your downloads
The syllabus, workbook, and everything else on this site are for your personal training use, and for a flight instructor to use with their own students. Please do not resell them, republish them, or strip the attribution. Pilot Career Solutions is a trademark; the FAA publications we link to are public domain and belong to everyone.
Accuracy
We work hard to keep every number current and cite our sources, and we correct errors when readers point them out. Regulations, pay tables, and airline policies change; verify anything you are about to act on against the current regulation, the current pay table, and your own instructor, school, or airline.
Who can use this
The free materials are for everyone. Calls, tips and paid downloads are for adults; a minor may book a call only with a parent or guardian who books it, pays for it and is welcome to join it, which mirrors the privacy page.
Limits
You are responsible for the decisions you make. To the extent the law allows, our liability for anything arising from this site or a call is limited to what you paid us for that call or download. These terms are governed by United States law and the law of the state where Pilot Career Solutions is based.
If something goes wrong
Tell us first: email hello@pilotcareersolutions.com with what happened and we will try to put it right within ten business days. If we cannot, any dispute is handled in the state or federal courts of the state where Pilot Career Solutions is based, and each of us keeps the right to small-claims court.
Changes to these terms
When these terms change, the effective date at the top changes with them and the previous version is available on request. A change applies to calls booked and downloads bought after that date, not before.

Affiliate links
Gear pages (headsets, simulator hardware, books) may include affiliate links, marked (affiliate). As of September 2026 none are live.
