Privacy policy
Plain English, because that is how the rest of this site is written. We collect as little as we can, we never sell it, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.
What we collect, and why

What we deliberately do not collect
Medical details. Our form and our notes record only whether you hold an FAA medical, never why or why not. If you tell us medical information on a call, we do not write it down. Talk to an Aviation Medical Examiner; that is the only conversation that matters for your medical.
How we use it
To run your call, send you the action plan we promised, and remember your situation for a follow-up. We use aggregate, anonymous patterns (for example, "many career changers ask about the family conversation") to decide what to write next. We do not sell personal information. We do not rent or trade it either, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who sees it
One person: the airline captain who runs this site. The services that hold data on our behalf process it under their own privacy policies and security programs; we chose them partly for that: Plausible, Calendly, Stripe, Airtable, our email provider, and Google Voice. We disclose personal information only if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Client records and call notes are kept while you are a client and for two years after our last contact, so a returning client does not start over. Payment records are kept as long as tax law requires. Analytics contain nothing personal. Ask and we delete your client record sooner.
Your choices and rights
Email hello@pilotcareersolutions.com to see what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. We answer within 30 days and we do not need a form or a reason. If you live somewhere with specific privacy laws (the EU/UK, California, and others), you have those rights too, and we honor them the same way.
Children
This site is written for people deciding on a flying career, including high-school students, but it does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13, and paid calls are for adults or for minors with a parent or guardian on the call. If you believe a child has given us information, tell us and we will delete it.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS, stores no customer data on its own server, and takes no payments itself. The services that do hold data are the same ones used by businesses far larger than this one. No system is perfectly secure; we keep the amount of data small so that the stakes stay small. If a breach ever exposes your personal information, we will tell you by email without undue delay, say what was involved, and notify any authority the law requires.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, the effective date at the top changes and we say what changed here. We will not quietly expand what we collect.
